A new Vision Statement is to be presented to the congregation following September 4 services during Oneg (lunch). The Vision Statement has been specifically designed to reflect the responses to the questionnaire made available previously. Its purpose is to detail how the new Mission Statement (presented some weeks ago) will be carried out in worship, teaching, stewardship, and evangelism.

The vision of Congregation Lion of Judah is:

To establish vibrant teams under the guidance of the elders to assist in glorifying God’s spirit in creative celebration of Yeshua Messiah, employing dance, music, liturgy, prayer, the reading of God’s Word, assemblies, festivals, and other methods.

To reinvigorate discipleship groups, develop home study curricula, teach the Hebraic roots of our faith bringing cultural and contextual understanding of the whole Word of God.

To implement God’s holistic stewardship of our lives as taught through the Word of God; to be good stewards of all with which we are blessed and to return God’s gifts for His use; and to support God’s plan for Israel.

To participate in the Great Commission through support of other Messianic and Christian endeavors; to invite others to become disciples of the Master, Messiah Yeshua.

It asks and answers questions like, who is a Gentile?, Who is a Jew?, and What is the Christian church? It looks at these questions from the Jewish perspective with which Jesus grew up.
